Dive into Healing and Empowerment with Women’s Holistic Surf Days

Join us for a transformative day of connection with Certified Surf Therapy Facilitator Mary Frandson, as these sessions weave mindfulness, surf therapy, and sisterhood into an experience of self-discovery and healing. From grounding beach rituals and breath-led yoga flow to learning how to ride the waves with intention, each moment is designed to reconnect you with your inner strength and the wisdom of Mother Ocean.

These sessions offer a safe, empowering space to release fear, embrace play, and ride the waves of life together. Our talented and well-loved instructor, Bryan Branch, will join us in the water to offer instruction and support.

Your 2-Hour Surf Therapy Experience:

  • Mindful intention and movement to ground & awaken the body

  • Expression in the ocean (boogie boarding or surfing with instructors)

  • Restorative yoga and reflection on the sand, leaving you feeling restored, connected, renewed and stoked

What to Bring & Logistics

Essentials:

  • Swimsuit + Wetsuit

  • Surfboard or boogie board (if you need to rent one, just let us know, and we’ll provide you with some options)

  • Reusable Water Bottle

  • Towel & Warm Change of Clothes

  • Hat & Sunscreen (ocean-safe preferred)

  • Yoga Mat or Beach Blanket (optional—for land movement)

  •  A Journal and something to write with

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early for sign-in

Safety & Accessibility:

These sessions, while not intended for beginners, can be adapted to meet participants' needs. If you’re new to surfing, let us know, and we’ll make sure we pair you with a dedicated instructor to guide you every step of the way.

Our sessions in Newport Beach will be stationed right near the Newport Beach Lifeguard Tower, and sessions held in El Porto and Santa Monica will be stationed near LA County lifeguards.

Women’s Wellness Surf Days invite you to experience sanctuary by the sea—whether you’re a first-timer ready to find your stoke, a mother craving a little space to exhale, or someone navigating an experience of trauma or grief, this 2-hour session is intended for anyone looking to find healing in the waves. Through surf therapy, movement, and shared intention, we gather in sisterhood to reconnect with our bodies, our stories, and the wisdom of the waves. We’ll start with a mindful intention and movement to ground and awaken the body, then dive into an hour of expression in the ocean (boogie boarding or surfing), and finish with restorative yoga and reflection on the sand, leaving you feeling restored, connected, and renewed.
